Alexandra Ameen

Graduated from the University of Malta in Communication Therapy in 1997. Worked in different clinical settings both with children and adults with learning disabilities. Currently working in Malta’s main acute and rehabilitation hospitals. Main area of interest is Adult Dysphagia. In 2010 obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical Speech and Language Sciences, in Dysphagia at Trinity College, Dublin. For three years kept the post of dysphagia specialist. Formed part of the ASLP committee since 1997, and is currently the treasurer. Is involved in various philanthropic organizations like VOICES Foundation, and AVL Malta.
